Multiple Selection Operations

How to Select Multiple Items

To select multiple items, click on each item while holding the Ctrl key. To select several items in a row, click on the first and then on the last item while holding the Shift key.

Multiple Selection Operations in the Tasks Window

The following two commands perform differently in the multiple selection mode:

• Rename: Shows Rename - Multiple Selection dialog. Deletes a user-provided substring from the names of all selected tasks.
• Properties: Shows Properties - Multiple Selection dialog. Provides ability to change levels or set the same filters for all selected tasks.

The following commands perform the same operation on several tasks as they do on a single task.

• Delete
• Cut
• Copy
• Run Task
• Stop Task
• Refresh
• Drag and Drop
• Save As..

The following commands are available in the multiple selection mode:

• Create Task
• Refresh
• Delete
• Save As..
