Great...
I use it and cannot live without it. Forget grabbing texts or images from internet for later viewing/reading. Get the whole sites, or parts of sites and read it as they are ment to be read. Easy to use and, in my opinion, better than OfflineExplorer.

A quick no-brainer...
I heard that a particular site was going out of business and off the web. I used this product to quickly grab the site and store it on my hard drive for future reference. It worked great. There were some dynamically built .asp pages that did not come across (expected), but the program allows for that gracefully with a propmt for action. Excellent product. It was my first pick and I see no reason to look for others.

Best in the category
Does exactly what offline browser means to do. Loaded with plenty of features, from my experience, I'd recommend to read OC manual to learn about them. UI is very handy and intuitive. I've been using it hard for 4 days and it seems to be very stable.
Though UI is designed well, it looks a bit outdated and this is the only flaw I've noticed.

This was my faithful adjutant.
Many helpful features. High speed. Classic interface. All download sites stored in one my project.
Problem with parsing construction background-url in css, when export project to disk.

This is a massively capable product which is simply light-years ahead of any other offline browser available at present. I have struggled with Offline Explorer, BlackWidow, WebWhacker etc, but they all share the same failing in that, however much you mess around with filters, you inevitably end up downloading loads of junk you don't want while missing much of the stuff you do need. Offline Commander works far more intuitively, and has clearly been designed by programmers who have thought long and hard about exactly how (and why) people use offline browsers. As a bonus, it can also be used in online mode as a normal browser, prefetching links at the user's discretion and hugely speeding up browsing using a dialup connection. Another major plus is that saved projects are stored by default in a single MS Access-compatible database file, instead of cluttering the hard disk with hundreds of directories sometimes nested up to a dozen deep, simply to store a single locally-relinked GIF or some such. Whilst this option exists, as in conventional site grabbers, it will degrade performance and encourage fragmentation, particularly under Windows NT. Although there are one or two rough edges, and there seem to be a few stability issues, the general presentation is slick and professional.
Offline Commander is so useful, that I registered it. Pull down everything from a website that you care about, and not the stuff you don't. Cue up links, and have them retrieved. They will likely be stored on your PC, by the time you actually get around to pulling up the page. Interface is a little difficult at first. Does not make it easy to fill in forms, as does Internet Explorer. Downloading files, using download managers tools is more difficult. If you value your time, want powerful search tools, this is well worth while. Highly recommended.

I use Offline Commander most when I find online tutorials, to download them for later use. When using it for the first time you have to look carefully what you need to do, but everything is very clear explained and soon you`ll know how it works, and you don`t want anything else.
